Last month the preschool school that I volunteer some of my time to had a graduation, and I was asked to put together some slides for the graduation. The parents also wanted a DVD of the show.

Rude Telemarketers

Everybody pretty much hates telemarketers. They interrupt during dinner. Try to sell you something you don’t want or care about, and they won’t accept no for an answer. That kind of thing. But that’s not the rude I’m talking about. What I’m talking about is when they get nasty when you ask do be put on their do not call list.

Capturing window shot in Mac OS X (10.4)

Update patterns in gimp
May 27th, 2007To update patterns after one is created and saved, and without restarting gimp do the following.
- Â In the photo main window select “Dialogs->Patterns” in the photo main window.
- Click on the reload button. It looks like a small circular arrow in the bottom right of the dialog box.
The keyboard shortcut is Shift-Ctrl-P
Moving thunderbird profile
May 23rd, 2007On my Mac powerbook laptop I have several accounts set up. One administrator, one personal and one for work. When I got my laptop I set up my work email on my personal account. Not a bad thing, but I now what to move my thunderbird email over to my work account.

Blogging now more or less official
May 15th, 2007I set up wordpress on this site. Now I hope to do more updates and what not.
Add blogging package to main web site.
April 15th, 2007I installed a piece of blogging software to the main site. The package is called wordpress and is a full featured, but free blogging software. I was debating on either writing mine own or using something that was precreated. I decided on precreated in order to be able take the power of others for templates.
