Update patterns in gimp

To update patterns after one is created and saved, and without restarting gimp do the following.

  1.  In the photo main window select “Dialogs->Patterns” in the photo main window.
  2. Click on the reload button. It looks like a small circular arrow in the bottom right of the dialog box.

The keyboard shortcut is Shift-Ctrl-P

Moving thunderbird profile

On my Mac powerbook laptop I have several accounts set up. One administrator, one personal and one for work. When I got my laptop I set up my work email on my personal account. Not a bad thing, but I now what to move my thunderbird email over to my work account.
